COKATO – The Chargers had perhaps one of their best games of the season Tuesday in a 63-56 loss to Litchfield.
Litchfield came into the game with a 19-5 record, and has been consistently rated one of the top-20 teams in Class AA.
However, DC hung with the Dragons throughout the game in a 63-56 loss.
The difference in the game was inside shooting.
Litchfield hit on a whopping 21-29 shots from inside (72%), compared to 38% (10-26) for DC.
Collin Krick (24 points) and Sanders Asplin (22 points) led all scorers, and combined for 46 of DC’s 56 points.
Alex Gruenke had 20 points for Litchfield, on 8-12 shooting including 4-6 from outside.
