Life threatening accident on Hwy. 7 and Dairy Ave. reported Nov. 21

WINSTED TOWNSHIP–The Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) reported a car accident with life threatening injuries Nov. 21 at 10:59 a.m. occurring at Hwy 7 and Dairy Ave, in Winsted Township, Mcleod County. A 2020 Chevrolet Traverse driven by

Alissa Kay Carlson of Silver Lake was Eastbound on Hwy 7, and a 2011 Ford Escape driven by Tavion Scott Saulsbury of Waconia was Westbound on Hwy 7 when the vehicles collided.

Saulsbury was sent to North Memorial with life threatening injuries. Carlson and three other passengers of the traverse were sent to Glencoe Regional Health Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

MSP was assisted in providing emergency services by the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Ridgeview Ambulance, Silver Lake Fire Department, Lester Prairie Fire Department, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
