Letter: It is all about politics and control

President Obama committed 30,000 troops to the war in Afghanistan. He is to be congratulated; the dithering is over and he has finally made the correct decision.
The left, however, is not happy. The left wants Osama Bin Laden to win the war on terror; they want us out of Afghanistan immediately. We can now look forward to some heavy-duty appeasement by our fearless leader.
That is right, Obama will come up with a full-court press of Obamacare. He will do his utmost to destroy the best health care system in the world and appease the left.
Cap and trade legislation will rear its ugly head. Obama will ignore the data not supportive of global warming. He has chosen to ignore the facts because the facts were gained by illegal Internet hacking.
He is ignoring the fact that scientists are resigning in embarrassment over being caught in such a huge lie. Global warming is going the way of the global cooling scare and the Y2K scare. The only problem is, will our state and federal elected officials recognize the truth? Its politics, folks.
Global warming legislation like health care legislation is all about politics and control. It is a gigantic power grab. They want to bankrupt us so that they can control every facet of our lives.
Remember this president promised us “hope and change.” He said President  Bush had spent too much money and he was correct. What he didn’t tell us was that his change was to spend more money than George Bush. In fact, he is spending more money than George Bush and all the other presidents before him put together. Now that would be bad enough but we don’t have the money.
Obama is borrowing the money from China and he is printing money here at home. The president is setting our economy up for massive failure. What he is doing is setting us up for a depression that will make the Great Depression look like a walk in the park.
People need to wake up before it is too late. They need to pull their heads out of the sand and become politically active.
We must call, write or e-mail our elected officials daily or at least a couple of times a week. We need to make our elected officials know that they work for us.
We need to stop Obamacare legislation. We need to stop the insanity of cap and trade legislation. We need to stop the serial spending of our Congress. We have an enemy invading our monetary system from within. We must stop the enemy now.
I  know it is a busy time of the year, but if we wait we will wake up and find a drastically  changed country. It will no longer be the country we know and love. This is not the change we want or need.
Only your immediate actions, in mass numbers, can stop the wholesale selling out of our country. Our mantra must be call, write and e-mail. Let the Legislature know how you feel.
