LESTER PRAIRIE – The Prairie Days Board has decided to cancel the July 2020 event. Board members agreed there are too many uncertainties to be able to plan a large event. The board wants to ensure the safety of volunteers and community members.
Fireworks fundraising buckets will remain at local businesses to raise funds for next year’s celebration.
The board will start planning next year’s event soon – Lester Prairie will be celebrating its 135th birthday in 2021.
