Lester Prairie to implement wage increases for city employees


The Lester Prairie City Council adopted a resolution regarding its employee wage scale Aug. 8. The city wanted to increase employee wage scales to ensure that all of its employees are being paid competitively.
Earlier this year, the city hired David Drown Associates (DDA) to assist in determining the market values for its seven city employees. These positions include city police officers, maintenance workers, and the city clerk.
