Lester Prairie students need these supplies

Preschool
Large backpack (big enough for a folder), extra set of clothes in backpack (change with seasons), pocket folder, one box of washable classic color markers for Mon., Wed., Fri. group, and Crayola watercolors for Tue. and Thurs. group.

Kindergarten
Box of eight regular size Crayola Crayons, paint shirt, school bag, box of broad-tip washable Crayola markers, two pocket folders, one wide ruled spiral notebook (8” x 10 1/2”), one small spiral notebook (about 4” x 6”), two 4 oz. bottles of white Elmer’s Glue, glue sticks, one child’s Fiskars scissors (blunt), and erasers.

Grade 1
A small pencil box (approximately 5” x 8”), pencils, erasers (big rectangle ones work best), 16 or 24 Crayola brand crayons, box of broad-tip washable markers, low odor dry erase marker, one Fiskars scissors, three wide-lined spiral notebooks, three pocket folders with pocket on bottom (not sides – plain red, plain yellow, plain blue, a school bag, box of Kleenex (175-count), tennis shoes to stay in school, one highlighter, 3 packages glue sticks, two 4 oz. bottles of white Elmer’s glue, and paint shirt (optional).

Grade 2
Pencils, erasers, child’s scissors, pencil box, pencil sharpener with shavings catcher, school bag, 4 oz. bottle of white Elmer’s glue, box of 16 or 24 Crayola crayons, box of broad-tip washable markers, box of thin-tip washable markers, three pocket folders with horizontal pockets, four wide-lined spiral notebooks, one large box of Kleenex, tennis shoes for phy-ed, and paint shirt (optional).

Grade 3
#2 pencils, erasers, 4 oz. bottle of white Elmer’s Glue, pencil box (approx. 5” x 8”), two spiral bound wide-ruled notebooks, two big boxes of Kleenex, three folders, highlighter, tennis shoes for phy-ed class, box of 16 or 24 Crayola Crayons, colored pencils, Fiskars scissors, box of broad-tip markers, box of thin-tip markers, pencil sharpener, and paint shirt (optional). Note: No 3-ring binders, Trapper Keepers, or boxes of 64 crayons, our desks are too small for these items.

Grade 4
#2 pencils, erasers, two highlighters, box of 24 crayons, three spiral-bound notebooks, two folders, scissors, glue stick, two boxes of Kleenex, tennis shoes for phy-ed class, small pencil box (approx. 5” x 8”), and colored pencils. Note: No Trapper Keepers or large pencil boxes.

Grade 5
Four spiral notebooks, bottle of school glue (optional), three folders, one package colored markers, crayons, erasers, big box of tissues, tennis shoes for phy-ed, #2 pencils, red pens, black erasable pens, loose leaf paper (1 pkg.), scissors, and world atlas (optional). Note: No Trapper Keepers, they are too large to fit in desks.

Grade 6
#2 pencils, preferable mechanical, scissors, four red correcting pens, narrow or wide ruled note paper (not spiral bound), three 2-pocket portfolios, colored pencils for map work, Kleenex, ruler (1/16” scale), tennis shoes for phy-ed, inexpensive hand calculator, compass and protractor (optional).
