Friday, January 18th is the end of the second quarter and students will be dismissed at 11:30 that day.  Elementary students will eat lunch at school and high school students will not have lunch at school that day.

The Lester Prairie School is participating in the Pennies for Patients/Leukemia Lymphoma Society fundraiser, raising money for blood cancer research. We are starting on January 14th and going until February 12th. This organization helps to find a cure for childhood blood cancer. Did you know that breakthroughs in blood cancer research are now being applied to other kinds of cancers and serious diseases? This is all because of the support received by the donations to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and other cancer research organizations. We have various ways to raise money. We will have class competitions, online donations https://events.lls.org/pages/mn/LesterPrairieSchool-2019,   dress up days, selling suckers at home events, and pie-ing of the teachers. Together we can all change cancer!
