9th grade- Quick meeting TODAY, in Mr. Scoblic’s room, during homeroom. 10:51-11:01.
There will be a 7th grade class meeting on Thursday during homeroom in Miss Aldrich’s Room.
Students in grades 6-12 will be dismissed at 2:55 today to go to their homeroom so they can pick up their picture forms.
Pictures will be taken on Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Homework Help will begin on Monday, September 25th with Jan Smith supervising on Monday’s and Jennifer Smith supervising on Wednesday’s.
There are sign-up sheets for Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball, Grades 7-12, in the office. Friday is the last day to sign up.
The PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) will meet this evening at 6:30pm in the Media Center. All are welcome to join us!
Leukemia is cancer of blood forming cells in the bone marrow. There are different types of leukemia, acute-fast growing or chronic-slow growing. There will be an estimated 62,130 new cases in 2017 and there will be an estimated 24, 500 deaths in 2017. Leukemia is an active area of biomedical research. Ongoing studies are examining the risk factors and causes of leukemia, as well as examining new and improved treatment options.
Sept. 11-15 is Cancer Awareness Week
Wednesday- wear orange for leukemia
Thursday – wear gray for brain cancer
Friday – wear pink for breast cancer
T shirts are available for sale in the office for $10.00.
Bracelets are available for sale during jr. and sr. lunch hours for $1.00 each.
There is a change with t-shirt sales. If you are interested in a PINK Bulldogs Fight Cancer t-shirt, please sign up and pay $10.00 in the office. Shirts will be delivered to you 7th hour. Sizes available: Youth M & L
Friday is the Randy Shaver Tackle Canter football game. Wear pink to the game and there will be a pulled pork meal for sale for $5.00. Prizes will be given away along with raffles and a donation table. Students and staff are also encouraged to donate – there is a donation box in the office.

Auditions for the fall play, “Don’t Rock the Boat,” will be held in Ms. Olson’s room (147) today, Wednesday, September 13th at 3pm. You only need to show up for one of the days. If you can’t make any of those dates, please let Ms. Olson know and I’ll arrange a special time. The play is a comedy that takes place on the high seas (think pirates, ship’s crew, entertainment, and romance)! Grades 6 -12 are encouraged to audition. If you have questions, please see Ms. Olson. There will be pep band for Friday’s football game. This is a required event for band students in grades 7-12. Please let Mrs. Helland know if you have a conflict.
