Attention High School Students and Parents:  The LP Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is once again sponsoring a Christmas wish list project for the high school teachers. We’ve collected wish lists from high school teachers and put tags with the requested items on a display on the trophy case in the high school lobby.  Each tag has a teacher’s name and item(s) they have requested for their classrooms.  Please stop by and take a look at the requested items – there are a variety of items in different price ranges that are easy to purchase at retail stores or online.  If you’d like to give a gift to a teacher, simply select a tag(s) -  Purchase the specified item(s), wrap and deliver the gift to the teacher directly or to the  high school office before December 21, 2017.  The display will be up until Christmas break or all the tags are gone. Please join us in sharing the spirit of this wonderful season with our teachers!  Questions or comments regarding this project can be directed to Darlene Schmidt or Tracy Jackson. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

NHS is having their Toys for Mary’s Place toy drive and it will continue until December 15th. Our goal is to get 250 new toys for children who are less fortunate. If we reach our goal each grade will get to watch a movie on the day before Christmas break. PLEASE BRING IN TOYS.

The Boys’ Basketball Parents’ Night will be held on Friday, December 8 when the Bulldogs will be playing HLWW at the LP Gym. Lester Prairie 2018 After Prom Party

BAKE SALE AND DINNER

HELLO, to all Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Parents:

Each year the After Prom Party has a bake sale to help pay for the all-night party that follows the prom. In the past, the party has featured a hypnotist, deejay and dancing, interactive inflatables, plenty of food and games with prizes.

To guarantee a fun evening for all concerned, your help is needed to make this year’s bake sale a success. The proceeds of this bake sale will go towards the 2018 and 2019 After Prom Party.

The bake sale will begin at 6:00 p.m. before the Lester Prairie Elementary Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 7th, and continue immediately after the concert as well. Each family is asked to bring 2 to 3 baked goods to the High School lobby between 7:30-8:30 a.m. or 3:00-5:30 p.m. that day.

This year we will be doing something different from our usual November meal for Veterans. We will be having a meal before the boy’s basketball game on Friday, December 8th from 4:30 to 7pm. If you would be willing to help please let Cheryl Bayerl know.

If you have any questions regarding the Bake Sale or Dinner and need to drop off items at a different time, please contact Kim Weinzierl at 612-723-1510 or 320-485-7420. Thank you for your help to make this year’s bake sale a success!
