Tomorrow’s Menu: Hamburger in Gravy or Turkey in Gravy over Potatoes, Buttered Bread, Lettuce Salad & Cole Slaw, Fruit, Milk

Important Notes and Reminders:

No school on Thursday and Friday due to Thanksgiving.

Band students are selling coffee until Monday November 29th. You can buy from any band student in grades 6-12. If you would like to buy some, but haven’t been asked yet, please talk to Mrs. Helland.

Babysitter Training class will be held 9:30 AM-12:30 PM Saturday December 4 in the Media Center. The class is open to students ages 11+. Cost is $50. Scholarships are available for families qualified for free or reduced-price meals. Contact Kelly Elling (elling@lp.k12.mn.us or 320-395-2521 Ext. 1104) to register.

The holidays are coming, and we want to help make the season even more special for the K – 6th grade children by giving them the opportunity to shop (in secret!) for the perfect gift for Mom, Dad, grandparents & siblings. The Holiday Store will be open on Friday 12/3. We need lots of help for this event, so please consider joining us. If you know of someone that could use a little hope or thanks this holiday season, please stop in the office and pick up a nomination form OR email Cheryl Bayerl at cherylbayerl@lp.k12.mn.us for a Hope for the Holidays basket. Nomination forms are due by Friday December 3.

SENIORS-Reminder that all “That’s My Pan” fundraiser orders should be turned in by November 24th before 3:00. If you have any checks, make sure to turn those in to Mr. Thode.

Seniors: Each year the MN State High School League (MSHSL) sponsors the Triple A Award to recognize high school seniors who are leaders in their schools and who demonstrate a strong commitment to participation and leadership in the Arts, Athletics, and Academics. Lester Prairie can select one boy and one girl from our senior class to receive this award. The Bulldog Basketball players have collected pledges for every shot they make. They will each shoot a total of 100 shots (15 right-hand layups, 15 left-hand layups, 50 free throws, and 20 three point shots). The shoot-a-thon raises funds for the Bulldog basketball programs. Come and show your support for these athletes as they attempt to make as many baskets as they can.
