All Homecoming Royalty-grand March for the dance is at 10:30.


The Lester Prairie Lions are sponsoring a tailgate party at the football field after the parade today.  They will be ready to serve you beginning at 5:30.  The menu is Sloppy Joes, Potato Chips, Pickles, Bars, Water.


There will be pep band for the FB game TONIGHT. Please be at the field by 6:25 pm ready to play. If you are riding in the parade, make arrangements for your instrument to meet you at the field!


Juniors~  Please be at the school by 4:45 TODAY to assemble the float. If you want to ride on the float, please bring a bag of candy to throw.  Wear Bulldog apparel. :)


Attention parents of grades 1-3 flag Football players:  The boys and girls who have signed up and are playing Saturday Flag Football will be playing at half time TONIGHT at the boys Varsity Homecoming Football game.  Please bring your child and watch the game. At the half time intermission, your child should meet at the concession stand end of the field where they will be divided into teams and play.  Come one come all and support your Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity Football player !See you at the game !


The National Honor Society is conducting a food drive during the Homecoming Week. This will be in conjunction with the Student Council Activities that week. Food items will be counted and added into the point totals for your class. Donation boxes can be found in your whole class advisory rooms. Bring in food items and support the local food shelf! Go Bulldogs!
4th, 5th and 6th grade youth football practice will start earlier at 5:45pm and finish at 7:15pm starting with the Tuesday October 1st practice.  Also, please note that games scheduled for Saturday October 5th have been rescheduled to Saturday October 12th due to a scheduling conflict at Roberts Park.  Game times will be the same.

Come and get your flu shot during conferences on Oct. 10, 2019.  The flu vaccination clinic will be held that day from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Anyone age 6 months and older may receive the vaccination.  Bring your insurance card or you may pay with cash.


Seniors are selling pies from Carlson’s Apple Orchard. They are selling until Oct 25th and will be delivered Nov 15th.


The following items are needed for the fall play:

1 Dollie (to move boxes)

3 to 4 oily rags

fake flowers (enough to fill a wagon)

1 black cloak

1 small stool (the size for someone who would be milking a cow)

1 fairy costume (that would fit a teenaged girl)

1 bike pump

1 pair of boys’ pajamas (that would fit a 13 year old boy; preferably with buttons/collar on the shirt and matching bottoms) 

red bed sheets (2 or more)

2 lawn chairs

1 shawl

1 pocket watch 


The 2019 yearbooks are in and my be picked up in the school office.


The school dental fluoride treatment, cleaning and sealants consent forms are due by Wed., Oct. 16th.  This is a wonderful service proved by licensed dental professionals.  Students in preschool through 12th grade may participate.  Additional forms are available in the school office.


Attention 9th – 12th grades: The Lester Prairie Lions are sponsoring an essay contest on how you step out of your comfort zone to influence others. There will be cash prizes! Who doesn’t like winning money?!?  If you have questions, please see Ms. Carmine for more information!


Junior and Seniors the Military Release Forms are due ASAP


Juniors and Seniors the ACT Permission and Money are due on Monday, October 28th.


Sophomores, please pay your class dues! Bring the receipt to Jenna or Ms. Stender.


Financial Aid Night for seniors and their parents will be held on Wednesday, November 6th at 6:30 in Room 126.


Holy Trinity is once again having their Halloween Bash for students in grades 5-12!  This event is open to anyone in the community whether they are an H.T. student, Religious Ed Student, L.P. student or whatever!  The Bash is on Friday, Oct. 25th and permission slips and payment are due by Monday, Oct. 21st.  Permission slips are available in the L.P. school office.

Jacob’s Way of Life Run/Walk 5K

What: Join us for a 5K Fun Run/Walk/Visit in memory of Jacob MacDonald (#MacDonStrong #34)

Where: Dassel Rod and Gun Club (70560 229th St, Dassel, MN 55325)

Registration: Online registration at getmeregistered.com (Event Name is     Jacob’s Way of Life 5K Run/Walk) $20 (includes t-shirt, race number, chip timing and lunch) Sign up by September 27 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Please register online if you are not participating in the run/walk but would like a t-shirt and lunch.
