Important Notes and Reminders:



Thank You to all who attended the Dignity Revolution events (Bob Lenz & AJ) yesterday and especially those that came last night.  We truly hope the messages regarding Value, Courage, Respect and the Gospel inspire you and give you peace and hope.  The speakers and crew had great things to say about our people and the turnout we had here in Lester Prairie!


There will not be Release on 16th.


The Spring Band concert is on Monday March 16th at 7:30 pm. This involves grades 5-12 band students. Students should be in the band room by 7 pm. 5th grade and Junior High need to wear white tops and black bottoms. Senior High needs to wear all black.


Band members are selling raffle tickets for the baskets that are on display at the school.  Winning tickets will be drawn at the concert on Monday, March 16th.  Tickets are also available in the school office.


LPS art projects, Gr. 8-12, will be on display in the gym before and after the Spring Band Concert, March 16th.


The next free lunch for high school students will be on Wednesday, March 18th at St. Paul’s Church.


Students will be released from school at 11:30 on Friday, March 20 as it is the end of the 3rd quarter.


The PTO is hosting the spring carnival on Thursday, March 19 from 5-7:30.  All proceeds from this event are used to grant teacher requests and support our students! Many volunteers are needed to help with set-up, games, food, and cleanup.  Please contact April Lee if you are able to work a shift 612-248-0304 call/text or alakelee@gmail.com


Help us provide this fun family night by working a shift:

Set up: 3:30-5:00

Games: 5:00-6:30

Games: 6:30-8:00

Clean up: 7:30-until finished

The Helland’s are involved in a fundraiser for 2B Continued called “Dancing Like the Starts” on April 11th, 2020 at the Glencoe City Center from 6-10 p.m.  All proceeds benefit 2B Continued which was formed to honor Shelly Teubert which supports the suicide prevention and mental health awareness.  Ticket can be purchased on line through their go fund me account.  Donations are also being collected in the LP School office which will go towards 2B Continued and will help the Hellands win that portion of the event.  Good luck to the Hellands!


The following students need to turn in their schedule forms for next year to Mrs. Mattson, please see Mrs. Mattson if you need another form: Alexis Kubista, Daniel Ruelas, Gavin Eckstein, Jose Martinez, Angel Diaz, Juan Espinoza,  Matthew Tervo


Activities and Sports:



Soccer forms are due to the office TODAY.


Junior High Softball practice will start on Monday, March 23rd.  All paperwork and payments need to be in before you can practice.


All spring sports forms, payments and physicals are due before you can practice.  Please get the forms and payments in ASAP.  Thank you!
