The track bus leaves LP at 2:45, HT 2:55.  Please dismiss athletes 10 minutes early.

Elementary and preschool students should have their picture money turned in by Thursday, April 20. Thanks!

Hope Feltmann is putting on a jean drive called Teens for Jeans. Teens for Jeans is a program where we collect jeans for homeless teenagers. It allows them some normalcy in their life. Gently used jeans can be donated at the school office or given to Hope. If you have any questions, please contact Hope Feltmann. Thank you!

The band program is once again starting to collect items for their raffle basket fundraiser. The themes are: Grades 6, 7 & 8: Family fun night or arts and crafts, Grade 9: Lazy Saturday, Grade 10: Camping/Grilling, Grade 11: Summer Fun, Grade 12: Baking. Please bring in items to Mrs. Helland by April 21st. Tickets will be sold from May 1st-18th and raffled off at the May 18th band concert. 

The following items are needed for the spring play:

Cowboy hats

Denim skirts – any size

Western Pictures

Western knick-knacks

Western shirts & blouses

Summer Youth Baseball/Softball umpires needed:  Lester Prairie Youth Baseball/Softball will again be offering paid umpire positions for summer youth baseball and softball games.  A free umpire clinic will be offered later this spring for anyone interested.  The umpire clinic will cover basic techniques and positioning.  The umpire clinic is strongly recommended for new umpires and returning umpires are also highly encouraged to attend.  Sign up sheet in the High School office.  Please sign up ASAP if you have any interest.  Need to be a current 8th grader or older to qualify.  If you have questions, contact Jeff Engen at 320-395-9839 or engenjeff@hotmail.com.

The gym will be closed for prom decorating from Wed., April 26 beginning at 3:00 until Sunday, April 30. The stage will be off limits from April 24 to April 30. The prom decorating hours are:

Wednesday, April 26: 3:00 p.m. – ?

Thursday, April 27: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Friday, April 28: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Juniors and Seniors: Please turn in 5 or 6 pictures of yourself from a young age until now for the prom video. You may also add group pictures if you want. You may turn your pictures into the office or email them to Troy Feltmann at troy@heraldjournal.com. Thank you if you have already turned in pictures.

Testing will begin after the pledge each day.

Detention will be with with Mrs. Amundson on April 20 from 7-8 a.m. Detention is held on Wednesday from 3-4 and Thursday from 7-8 & 3-4.

The next free lunch for high school students will be on Wed., April 26 at City Hall – Menu is pulled pork.

Homework Help is held every Monday and Wednesday from 3:00-5:00. Homework Help will be held in Mrs. Montagne’s Room (#113) on Mondays and it will be held in Miss Smith’s Room (#148) on Wednesdays.
