TO: RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS WITHIN THE CITY OF LESTER PRAIRIE

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED; The Economic Development Authority has submitted an Application for Consideration of Zoning Request to the Planning Commission of Lester Prairie. The Lester Prairie City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the vacation of Irvington Street and the east-west alley located between Irvington Street and Redwood Street on February 14, 2023, at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
The purpose of said public hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, personally, by agent or attorney, regarding the vacation of Irvington Street and the eastwest alley located between Irvington Street and Redwood Street (The public alley in Block 16, as donated and dedicated in Village of Lester Prairie, according to the recorded plat thereof, McLeod County, Minnesota. and part of Irvington Avenue, as donated and dedicated in said Village of Lester Prairie, which lies northerly of the easterly extension of the southerly line of Block 16, said Village of Lester Prairie, and which lies southerly of a line described as commencing at the southwest corner of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter, Section 2, Township 117, Range 27, McLeod County, Minnesota; thence on an assumed bearing of North 00 degrees 58 minutes 59 seconds West, along the west line of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter, a distance of 630.00 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described: thence South 89 degrees 07 minutes 01 seconds West a distance of 33.00 feet to the east line of Block 16, said Village of Lester Prairie, and said line there terminating). This Public Notice goes out to all residents within 350’ of the proposed plan. It is important for residents to attend this public hearing and provide their input regarding the dividing of this parcel.
