Lester Prairie play set for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13-14

LESTER PRAIRIE, MN – The Lester Prairie Drama Club will present the fall play “You’re Only Young Once” Thursday and Friday, Nov. 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lester Prairie School gymnasium. Admission is a free-will donation.
This comedy is about the sheer insanity of high school life and its societies.
The plot is a simple one of life’s little complications, romantic entanglements and academic pressures.
The real delights in this enormously popular play are the almost allegorical types of characters portrayed. There’s the principal, the coach, the English teacher, the athletic star, the honor student, the ladies’ man, the president of the PTA, and many others.
The setting is the principal’s office on the morning of the big game, and the scene includes the kinds of confusion that can ensue.
Actors will include Nick Nelson, Ana Hartwig, Max Pichotta, Bethany Briggs, Shane Cory, Jessika Lukes, Evan Ruwersma, Kendall Messer, Tyler Vollrath, Alyson Teubert, Tasha Racette, Erin Schwartz, Derek Litzau, Katie Paschke, Ben Price, Meagan Mahon, Daniel Preciado, Lincoln Yellick, Jeremy Condon, and Maggie Krull.
