THE SUPERINTENDENT’S SLOGAN
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Twas the week of Christmas and all through the LP school,
everyone was smiling and learning as this is the stated rule.
The artwork is taped to walls with great care,
in hopes parents, teachers, and students would stare.
Pupils in the classrooms are giving their best,
while visions of a vacation take the place of the test.
The staff in the office and Chief Carlson in the hall,
all hoping they do not receive the next phone call.
When suddenly from the music room there arose a loud cheer,
Mr. Rue had made all the homework disappear.
Away to the windows each class looked out to see,
if the snow was deep enough to close school on December 23.
The clouds presented the promise of new falling snow,
easier for the sleigh to be steered by the man who goes ho, ho, ho.
When what to the student’s wondering eyes should appear,
RESPECT, ETIQUETTE, and MANNERS for those who are near.
Cooperation with Holy Trinity strengthens are activity events,
as working together towards success just makes sense.
More rapid, our Bulldogs, the games they did play,
a spike, a sprint, and a touchdown left the other teams to say.
Now one score, two, three, and even four,
the fans are terrific and come cheering for more.
To the top of the stage where our homecoming and play set foot,
the cheering of the people for the students took root.
As the music department brings sounds to delight all,
the Lester Prairie school and its community will stand tall.
Education will move forward and yes, we have to test,
of course, each member of the school keeps doing their best.
And then on the intercom an announcement we all listen too,
Mrs. Scoblic praising those who are caught doing good.
E
ach day you are alive, challenge yourself to improve on,
the knowing others will praise you when you are gone.
I come each day to lead by example and show,
the school personnel and students must know.
E
veryday is a blessing, be of good cheer,
Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Mr. Mike McNulty
Lester Prairie Superintendent/Principal
