September 13, 2022
The Lester Prairie City Council met in regular session on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Mayor Mike called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
Motion – Dhoore; Second – Krause; Carried – Unanimously; To accept and approve the August Minutes as submitted.
Motion – Dhoore; Second – Thiry; Carried – Unanimously; To accept and approve the August Workshop notes as submitted.
Motion – Tritabaugh; Second – Thiry; Carried – Unanimously; To accept and approve the August Treasurer’s Report as submitted.
Ryan Hansch, candidate for McLeod County Attorney, introduced herself and talked about running for office.
Derek Leuer & Cody Brand from MNDOT presented an update on a Safety Audit that was performed for Highway 7. The Council was shown several recommendations that came out of the study.
Motion – Tritabaugh; Second – Dhoore; To accept the 2023 Preliminary Budget/CIP Plan.
Councilman Krause introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 17-22 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE PROPOSED 2023 LEVY
The foregoing motion was duly seconded by Councilman Tritabaugh; and following discussion thereon, a vote was taken.
Voting for the motion: Krause, Tritabaugh, Dhoore, Mayor Mike, Thiry
Voting against the motion: None
Abstained from vote: None
Mayor Mike declared Resolution No. 17-22 adopted by unanimous vote this 13th day of September, 2022.
Motion – Tritabaugh; Second – Krause; Carried – Unanimously; To have the Truth in Taxation meeting December 13, 2022 at 6:30 pm.
Motion – Tritabaugh; Second – Dhoore; Carried – Unanimously; To pay the claims.
Motion – Krause; Second – Thiry; Carried – Unanimously; To adjourn the meeting.
Mayor Mike adjourned the meeting at 7:41 pm.
