PUBLIC NOTICE
The Lake Ann Improvement Association would like to give notice to all property owners on Lake Ann and the general public that utilize the lake, of the upcoming plan to aerate a small portion of the lake this winter. The purpose is to prevent fish kill because of the extreme low water conditions. All DNR requirements and permitting will be in place. The aerator system will keep a small area of the ice open to water to add oxygen into the lake. It will be marked with THIN ICE signs appropriately placed, as required by DNR. The system will be operating “during ice cover” throughout the winter.
