Kernels let early lead slip away to Diamond Devils

COKATO – The visiting Diamond Devils rallied from a 4-0 deficit to score nine straight runs, including seven in the sixth, en route to an 11-6 victory over the Kernels Wednesday.

Austin Kantola had a nice day at the plate, collecting three hits. Isaac Nelson had two hits, and Sanders Asplin and Billy Aho each had doubles.

Tanner Terning took the loss, giving up six runs (two earned) on six hits and three walks through 5 2/3 innings.

The Kernels dropped their sixth straight game in North Star League action, and are now 1-7 in NSL play.
