hlHOWARD LAKE, MN – The Howard Lake Business Association is in the process of setting up a “Welcome Wagon,” according to past discussion at a regular meeting.

A committee is being set up with two members who are planning to greet incoming and new businesses in the Howard Lake area.  The contact is Jeff Schoess, who is president of Korosensor (korosensor.com), which is the business that takes up residence at the old clinic building.  His number is (320) 543-2333.
Congratulations to Munsons

To no one’s surprise, the Munsons are doing extremely well in trapshooting.
Eric Munson of Cokato, and his parents, Robert and Lou Ann Munson of Howard Lake, were all recently named to the Minnesota Trapshooting Association’s 2009 state team.
This talent runs deep in the Munson family.  Eric and Robert Munson both qualified for the men’s first team, and Robert also earned captain, which means he had the highest overall shooting average of team eligible shooters in their categories. Robert’s average was 97.52 percent, while his son was close behind in second with an average of 97.48 percent.
Happy Birthday to Tom
Happy birthday to Tom Peterson, whose birthday is New Years Eve.  Also, Happy Birthday to Tom Sullivan, whose day is the day after New Year’s, Jan. 2.
