PARKING REMINDER FOR STUDENTS:  Students are NOT allowed to park in STAFF PARKING in the front of the School and are not allowed to park in the Activity  Center /Community Ed parking lot during and after school hours. Also NO PARKING in the lot by the fields/track. Thank you!

WE NEED YOU! HLWW Student Council is on the lookout for leaders within our high school who are looking to make a change. Students from 9th-11th grade who are interested in joining will be able to pick up an application from Stephanie Dailey or Seena Glessing. TODAY, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 is the FINAL day to submit applications for the 2017-2018 Student Council.  If you are at all possibly interested, your application needs to be turned in to Mrs. Glessing or Mrs. Dailey or in the high school office by 3 pm TODAY! Applications are available in our classrooms or from Mrs. Amland in the Middle School for the 8th graders.We will NOT be able to add members for next year after this time.

NO SCHOOL : Fri. March 24 – April 2. See you back April 3!

AP Exam Registration:  Is happening now.  Exams are $44.00 each. All Exam fees are due by Monday, April 3. Fees are due to your AP Teacher or Mrs. Thompson.

March: is National Sleep Awareness Month. Why is sleep important? Lack of sleep is linked to many health problems including heart and kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, being overweight and depression. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that drowsy driving is the cause of at least 100,000 car crashes each year! How can you avoid this? Get at least 7 – 9 hours per night. Help support the HLWW Class of 2018: Buffalo Wild Wings in Hutchinson will be donating 15% on any food order to the HLWW Class of 2018 on Tuesday, March 21st from 11am-9pm. Please advise the server that you are there for the HLWW Class of 2018 when placing an order in the restaurant or taking out your order. Thank you for your support.

DRIVERS EDUCATION: Spring session driver education will begin Monday, April 3 at 6 pm. There is room for additional students. Registration forms are available in the High School office, Community Education office or on the school website click on Community Education then Youth Activities.
BLEACHER SEATS: The HLWW High School Volleyball team is selling bleacher seats. These seats are great for basketball, football, volleyball, baseball, & softball games, wrestling matches, gymnastics & track meets.
