HLWW School Board to continue discussing expansion project at tonight’s meeting

HOWARD LAKE, WAVERLY, WINSTED, MN – The Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted School Board will continue to discuss and plan a possible expansion at tonight’s meeting at 6 p.m. in the high school media center.

SGN/Wendel Architects and Ehlers financial planners will be present at the meeting to assist the board in planning the building a middle school, field house, and completing the balcony in the auditorium at the high school campus, adding classrooms at Humphrey and Winsted elementary schools, adding a gymnasium at Winsted Elementary, and tearing down the oldest portion of the current middle school in Howard Lake.

Other items on the agenda include an update from the school nurse and an update from the organization Schools for Equity in Education.
