BOYS BASKETBALL: Results from Eden Valley-Watkins: Varsity won, JV won and C-Squad lost.
GIRLS BASKETBALL: Results from New London-Spicer: Varsity won and JV won. Games at home with Kimball tonight; tipoff is 6 p.m. C-Squad game will be at the HIGH SCHOOL at 6p.m. tonight.
WRESTLING: The Lakers will leaving for the MayPort CG wrestling tournaments TODAY. Please dismiss the following high school wrestlers after second hour today: Rob McBee, Dylan Pelnis, Cory Otto, Chris Cox, Dylan Youngren, Tyler Miller, Josiah Riemer, William Schanus, Jeff Hausladen, Josh Laxen, Kyle Forbragd, Joel Koch, and Garrett Schanus. School vehicles will be leaving at 10 a.m.
Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 18 starting at 8 a.m. For just 75 a team, get some friends together and play in some fun competition! If you’re under 18, you can still play but just need a guardian’s signature!
JO VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS there will be a mandatory officiating clinic that will take place at the HLWW Middle School Auditorium on Sunday, Feb. 5 starting at 10 a.m. Athletes that do not attend this clinic will have to attend one on their own by March 1st (No practice this day).
Concession Stand Workers for upcoming games: Friday, Jan. 13th – Mackenzie Quast, Jess Heuer, and PARENT VOLUNTEER NEEDED; Tuesday, Jan. 17 – Ashley Burke, Amanda Ebert, and PARENT VOLUNTEER NEEDED; Friday, Jan. 20 – Karly Hertzog, Katelyn Fritz, and parent Sue Fritz; Saturday, Jan. 21 – 3 p.m. session – Gabe and Zach Synstelein, and parent Janelle Synstelein; Saturday, Jan. 21 – 6 p.m. sessio – Jackson Houston, Sam Stender, and PARENT VOLUNTEER NEEDED. DRIVERS ED INFORMATION: Driver Education forms and schedules are available in the High School office and in the Community Education office at the Middle School. Classes begin in January, March and June. The January class deadline is TODAY.
2011-2012 YEARBOOKS: Remember the great times you had this year at HLWW by ordering your 2011-2012 yearbook. A yearbook can be purchased online…simply access the school web site (http://www.hlww.k12.mn.us), select “High School” and choose the link on the right hand side that says “2011-2012 Yearbooks for Sale.” For people not wishing to order online, order forms will be available next week and can be picked up from Mr. Smith.
