WRESTLING: The following wrestlers will be traveling to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Friday for Individual Sections: David Cox, Dylan Pelnis, Chris Cox, Dylan Youngren, Tyler Miller, Blake Klinkner, Riley Gruenhagen, Liam Fury, Jeff Hausladen, Nathan Marschel, and Garrett Schanus. Start time for the meet is 1 p.m., and the bus leaves at 9 a.m. Wrestlers should be excused at 8:45 a.m.
GYMNASTICS: All gymnastics uniforms MUST be turned into Marilyn at the middle school by 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21.
CROSS COUNTRY PATCHES: Are in the High School office and the cost is $5.00. (See Mary)
CHOIR/BAND CONCERT: Jazz Band, Concert Band, Girls Choir, and Concert Choir will take place in the HLWW High School Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. TONIGHT.
SADD MEETING: Will take place Friday, Feb. 22 at 7:30 a.m. in the HLWW High School Conference Room.

SPRING DRIVER’S TRAINING: The spring session of Drivers Ed begins Monday, March 11. Deadline to register is Friday, March 1. Forms are available in the HLWW High School office, the community ed office at the Middle School, or on the school website under community education, youth activities.
The freshman/sophomore honors breakfast will take place Wednesday, March 13 at 8 a.m. in the HLWW High School Commons. Students must have been on the honor roll both first and second quarter to receive an invitation. The invitations were mailed Friday, Feb. 15. If you think your student qualifies for an invitation, and did not receive one, contact Kathleen Messer in the HLWW High School Counseling Office at (320) 543-4600.

Juniors: Help is needed to start collecting paper from local businesses who are donating cardboard for the paper drive. Those with a truck or SUV who are available Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays, see Ms. Imberg. Trucks for the paper drive will be stationed in the high school parking lot from March 1-11.

STUDENTS: Traveling BB and SB sign up will take place Monday, March 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the HLWW High School Commons. Contact Brian Barth at (320) 260-1125, or Mary Pettit at (320) 224-1583 with questions.
ATTENTION: A popcorn count is taking place for FFA week. All students are eligible. Guesses will be counted Monday, Feb. 25, and winners will be notified. Make your guesses at the table outside the high school office.
FFA WEEK ACTIVITIES: There will be an emblem search, popcorn count, and milk mustache competition all week. “Like” the HLWW FFA page on Facebook, and post your best milk mustache picture. The picture with the most “likes” by the end of the week will get a $5 Dairy Queen gift card. Thursday: Hay bale and pigskin toss during both lunches outside the Ag department. Friday: Appreciate dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Ag trivia at GBB varsity halftime.
STUDENTS: The next paper drive will take place at the high school from March 1-11. People are needed to save paper and start taking donations! Storage space is available, see Shayla Hatcher or Ms. Imberg for details about storage for paper collected BEFORE the paper drive starts. Those who would like to get involved in collecting or organizing this event, contact Ms. Imberg at email@example.com.

SCHOLARHIP INFORMATION: SENIORS: Application forms for all the local Memorial Scholarships are now available from Kathleen in the Counseling Office. Application forms for the Lions Club, Legion, and Auxiliary Scholarships are also available. All forms must be completed and turned in to Kathleen by 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 26. Late forms will not be accepted.
SENIORS: Application forms for the Wright-Hennepin Electric Scholarship are now available in the counseling office. These forms should be turned in to Kathleen by 3 p.m. Friday, March 1.
SENIORS: Application forms for the Ridgeview Hospital Scholarship, Glencoe Hospital, and Buffalo Hospital Scholarship are also available from Kathleen. These forms are due by 3 p.m. Friday, March 15.
REGIONAL AND NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION CONTINUALLY COMES INTO THE COUNSELING OFFICE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. STUDENTS CAN STOP BY THE COUNSELING OFFICE TO CHECK ON SCHOLARSHIPS AS THEY COME IN.
