HLWW bulletin for Nov. 17

SOFTBALL: Lisa Fernandez on Dec. 28th will be hosting a softball camp; information is available in the High School Office.  See Mary.  Youth sizes now available in the Softball pullovers and Coach Burau will be in the Commons on Wednesday if you want to try one on.

GYMNASTS: Those who need a ride to Humphrey Elementary for practices Tuesday thru Friday…..bus 17 will be leaving from the front of the high school at 2:40; going to the middle school picking up students and leaving from the west side of the building by the locker room at 2:50pm to arrive at Humphrey Elementary by 3pm.  If you need a ride to practice be sure to be on time for the bus.  If you are not able to attend a practice please call or e-mail Marilyn Greeley by 3pm the day of when you will be absent.

3 on 3 TURKEY TOURNEY: Will be held on Nov. 25th.   Individual brackets will be for the following: Grades 6 – 9 male, Grades 6 – 9 female, 9 & above male, 9 & above female.  Entry fee is $5.00 if paid by Nov. 20th; Nov. 23rd $6.00; Nov. 24th $7.00 and on Nov 24th $10.00.  There must be a minimum of 24 for each bracket or that bracket will be cancelled.  Sign-up in Fobbe’s room ASAP.  IF YOU ARE NOT ON A 3 ON 3 TEAM, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL!

TEACHERS: The Agricultural Career Fair is TODAY, Nov. 17th.  At your convenience, could you please allow the students in agriculture classes, in the afternoon, to attend the career fair in the morning some time.  You are all welcome to attend the career fair with your classes if you desire.  Thanks for your cooperation with this educational opportunity!

FALL MUSICAL: Tickets for HLWW Drama Club’s presentation of Once Upon a Mattress are now on sale at the high school.  All seats reserved.  Performance dates are Thursday November 19th – Saturday November 21st at 7:30pm in the Laker Auditorium.  Ticket prices for the performance only are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students (HLWW activity passes accepted).  Saturday November 21st will be a dinner theater production – Social Hour begins at 5:00 with the meal being served at 5:30 in the high school commons.  Meal includes prime rib, baked potato, peas, dinner rolls and dessert.  Ticket pricing for the dinner theater is $20/plate (no HLWW activity passes accepted).  Reservations for the dinner theater need to be made by Friday November 13th.  For more information please contact Kathleen Messer at the high school media center.

STUDENTS/STAFF: ATHC will be sending over a box (Monday) for used xmas lights……please put a notice in your daily bulletins.  They are collecting used xmas lights for a project they are working on with their consumers.

STUDENTS/STAFF: When leaving the building through Door A, please make sure you close the door as you leave.  DO NOT PROP OPEN!

STUDENTS: Don’t forget your MEADA video regarding underage alcohol consumption.
YEARBOOKS: Reminder that yearbooks are on sale.  You can either order online or give your order forms and payment to Mr. Smith before school or between classes, NOT DURING CLASS.  Remember that the price goes up soon.  Get your orders in now.
