HLWW Bulletin for March 6. STUDENTS/STAFF: Police and other law enforcement

BOYS BASKETBALL: Games at home with Rockford tonight; tipoff is 6:00.
BOYS BASKETBALL: Sub-Section #17 games at the HL-W-W Middle School; tipoff is 6:00 on Saturday.GIRLS BASKETBALL: Lakers beat Kimball last night and will play Litchfield at Dassel-Cokato on Saturday, March 7th; tipoff is 8:00 and the bus leaves at 5:15.

WRESTLING: John Long lost both of his matches yesterday. Congratulations John on a great season.

TRACK & FIELD: Anyone interested in track that missed the meeting should stop by Moravec’s room to sign up or just show up for practice Monday at 2:50 in the Commons.

SOFTBALL: Practice will begin on Monday, March 9th. Any girls in grades 9 – 12 interested in playing should meet in the Middle School at 4:30 in the Commons. You need to bring your glove and be dressed in your practice clothes.

BASEBALL: Baseball meeting for all players grades 9-12 who are playing this season on Thursday, March 12th at 2:45 p.m. in Mr. Gagnon’s room. Plan on 45 minutes, you will get practice apparel on that day. You must speak to Mr. Gagnon if you are unable to attend.

BASEBALL/SOFTBALL: There will be open gym at the middle school on Sundays starting on Sunday, March 8th from 1-2:30 p.m. Anyone who will participate in baseball or softball is welcome!

TRAVELING BASEBALL/SOFTBALL: Sign-up will be held Monday, March 9th from 6:00 – 8:00 in the Middle School Common’s. (For teams ages 10 – 16)

JO VOLLEYBALL: JO Volleyball Tournament for this Sunday (March 8th) in New London-Spicer has been cancelled. This affects the 12’s, 15’s, 16-1’s, 16-2’s, and 17’s teams. Contact your coach if you have any questions.

LETTERCLUB: All students who have lettered in a Varsity Sport for the 2008 – 2009 school year please report to the gym at 7:40 for a Yearbook Picture.

KB: Any members planning on going to the meet on Wednesday, March 11th, need to let Mr. Athman know by TODAY.

MURDER MYSTERY: Ticket sales for the Murder Mystery performance of Murder’s in the Heir by Billy St. John on March 7th and 8th will go on sale before school at 7:30am and also during the lunch hour. Tickets will be sold Friday the 27th through Wednesday the 4th. Reservations for the dinner performance must be made before Wednesday the 4th. Ticket prices are $15.00 for dinner and the show. Dinner includes Prime Rib and baked potato with steamed vegetables. Cost of tickets for the show only on Saturday the 7th at 7:00pm or Sunday the 8th at 2:00pm is $4.00. Show only tickets can be picked up the day of the show. However, dinner reservations must be made by Wednesday the 4th – they can be paid for the day of the show. Contact any drama student for more information.

SENIORS: Application forms for all the local scholarships are available. This includes all the Memorial Scholarships, Legion, Lions, Masonic Lodge, and the health care scholarships. Seniors can pick up the forms from Kathleen in the Media Center. Completed forms and all Letters of Recommendation are due by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 1st.
