BOYS BASKETBALL: Sub-Section game tonight at home with the Lakers playing Glencoe-Silver Lake at 7:30.
WRESTLING: Reminder to all wrestlers that captain applications and Pin-a-Thon money is due by Wednesday, March 17.
TRACK: If you did not make the track meeting but are interested in going out for track, please stop in Mr. Moravec’s room to sign up. Practice starts Mon, March 15 at 3:15 p.m.
BASEBALL: There will be a mandatory meeting on Monday, March 15 at 2:45 in Mr. Gagnon’s room for all baseball players grades 9-12. Apparel will be handed out at the meeting.
SOFTBALL: Anyone grades 9-12 interested in playing softball should meet in the middle school commons on March 15th at 4:00. Be dressed and ready for practice.

Seniors: Application forms for all the local scholarships can now be picked up from Kathleen in the counseling office. This includes all the memorial scholarships — as well as the scholarships given by the Legion, Lions, Auxiliary, and other local organizations. All completed application forms and letters of recommendation are due by 3:00 Wednesday April 7th. Late application forms will not be accepted.
Seniors: Application forms for the Wright Hennepin Electric Scholarship and the Ridgeview Health Care Scholarship can be picked up from Kathleen. These application forms are due by 3:00 Friday March 26th. Late forms will not be accepted.
Buffalo Hospital has now added a scholarship for someone going into the field of health care. Those application forms can also be picked up from Kathleen. Completed forms are due Friday March 26 at 3:00.
HLWW After Prom will be sponsoring a pancake breakfast on Sunday March 21 at the K of C Hall, Waverly Mn. Serving time 7 am – 12 noon. We will also be having Bingo that evening at 6:30 pm at the same location. Come help support our efforts to provide a safe, fun, overnight event for our local students after prom. Breakfast co-sponsor Waverly Knights of Columbus.
PROM BOWLING FUNDRAISER: Sign-up in the High School Office. The cost of the meal for Prom will be determined by how much money we raise on this fundraiser.
TEACHERS: Please excuse the following students at 11:00 TODAY, March 11 for All State Choir Auditions: William Schanus, Sarah Beeler and Jackson Houston.
TEACHERS: Please excuse the following students on Friday, March 12th all day for a FFA CDE: Sarah Marketon, Ariel Kocher, Doreen Lorentz, Christina Bobrowske.

Students from 9th to 12th grade that would be interested in bowling or forming a team to bowl March 27th at the Lake Bowl should sign-up in the office and someone in charge will contact you. This fundraiser will benefit prom 2010.
There will be a junior class prom meeting Tuesday, March 23rd at 3:40pm. Please bring your completed bowling sign-up sheets and the money to the meeting.
Saturday, March 27th the junior class is sponsoring a bowling event at the Lake Bowl in Howard Lake. The time frames are: 11am – 1pm, 1pm – 3pm and 3pm – 5pm. Not only will there will be 2 hours of bowling for $10.00, but a chance to win some door prizes and support our local communities. This event is to enable a lower cost of prom for the students. We are in need of 6 adult teams. Please call Karen Erickson @ (320) 286-6782 to schedule your team.
April 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th (Thurs thru Sun) there will be a spring paper drive. There will be a semi trailer in the parking lot of the Lake Bowl in Howard Lake and will provide students to unload paper Saturday and Sunday. The junior class of 2011 will again be hosting this drive to earn money for their class. The money collected, will benefit the class in purchasing anything that they choose when they are seniors, from the senior breakfast to Chanhassen Theatre tickets…etc.
