HLWW boys’ basketball jamboree

HOWARD LAKE, MN – The Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers boys’ basketball team will host its annual jamboree Saturday, Nov. 28.
I
t all kicks off at 6 p.m. with Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted facing off against Norwood Young America. This is a rematch of the section championship game from a season ago.
Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity will then battle Dassel-Cokato at 6:50 p.m.
LP/HT is currently ranked 12th in Class 1A in the preseason poll by The Breakdown.
The final showdown of the evening has HLWW facing Maranatha Christian at 7:40 p.m.
Maranatha is ranked fifth in the preseason poll in Class 1A.
