Behr’s Story:
Behr is a 4 year old community member who has a rare and extreme case of epilepsy called Lennox Gastaut Syndrome. He has multiple seizures every day and his family is working with both MN Epilepsy Group and Mayo Clinic and have come to a conclusion that a service dog could do wonders for him and his family.
How YOU can Help:
Bring in gently used Shoes during the week of March 13 -23. We are collecting used (or new) shoes, boots, sandals, dress shoes in any size, color, gender. Shoes collected will be weighed and profit will be given to his family to purchase the service dog.
There will be collection boxes located in the High School, Middle School, both Waverly and Winsted Elementary Schools, and in local businesses including: Dairy Queen in Cokato, Dassel Covenant Church, St Mary’s Church in Waverly, during weekend mass hours, and the Howard Lake Muni.
Thank YOU!!
