The New Germany correspondent Dawn Hentges has officially given her one month notice as of July 7. Therefore, Herald Journal is now looking for her replacement. Interested individuals should contact editor Lynda Jensen at (320) 282-6558. The column can print each week or on a different schedule (every other week, etc.). Writing experience is not necessary; although a love for New Germany and interest nkeeping current events there is.
Previously, Dawn replaced the longtime legendary writer Glenna Lehrke, who wrote a column for decades. Here is a note from Dawn “Effective today 7/7/08, I present my one month’s resignation of writing the New Germany News. I don’t have enough time, talent or resources to write the column. I am sorry. Thank you though for letting me try though, It was fun. Dawn Hentges”
