LESTER PRAIRIE, MN – The Lester Prairie School Board conducted a special election Tuesday, Feb. 11 to fill the council vacancy created by the resignation of Board Member Marc Sebora in 2019. The board had previously appointed Brian Heimerl to fill the vacancy, and he has been serving on the board since that time. His was the only name on the ballot. An election was needed due to the time remaining in the term. Heimerl received 48 votes in the election, and there was one write-in vote.
