WACONIA — The lesson learned for both teams Tuesday night at the Waconia Ice Arena: stay out of the penalty box.

Four goals were scored in the game between Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato and host Waconia. All four were scored on a power play.

The visiting Dragons were more disciplined than the Wildcats in the penalty department by two — LDC skated on eight power plays and Waconia on six — and that was the difference in the game.

The Dragons scored three power play goals and won the game 3-1.
