Four Carver County roads closed due to flooding

CARVER COUNTY, MN – Four roads in Carver County are currently closed due to flooding, according to Carver County.  They are:

Camden Township:

County Road 30, between County Road 33 and the west county line.

Yancy Avenue, between 78th Street and County Road 30.

82nd Street, between County Road 32 and Union Avenue.

Watertown Township:

County Road 123 between Highway 7 and County Road 122.

On the CrowRiver at Highway 7 near Mayer, the reading this morning was 10.49 feet. Flood stage at Mayer is 11 feet. This morning’s reading showed a one-foot rise in the past 12 hours.

The current flood forecast from the National Weather Service indicates a crest level  of 15 feet for the Crow River at Mayer on or about Friday, March 19.
