Kids have their own bestseller lists, and here's one from Publisher's Weekly with lots of interesting information about each book's past and present status on the list. It's not possible to get to PW's reviews without being a subscriber, but Amazon.com can probably fill that gap.
Here's the site: http://www.publishersweekly.com/bestsellerslist/11.html?channel=bestsellers
And I do have a mini-review of my own (more like a testimonial :>) for The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane- number seven on the list.
I do hereby testify that this is one of the most heart wrenching and endearing and uplifting and inspiring books about a porcelain rabbit I have ever read. As far as I am concerned , this author, Kate DiCamillo, is absolutely terrific.
Other works include Because of Winn-Dixie, The Tiger Rising, The Tale of Desperaux, and the Mercy Watson books, which I have yet to read. The Tale of Desperaux does for mice what Black Beauty did for horses. (Just kidding really, but it is truly wonderful, nevertheless.)
Lots of interesting stuff on the above page including, at the bottom, links to all of the other PW bestseller lists.
happy spring to all!
