Howard Lake, MN—The Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted School Board has selected five
semi-finalists to interview for the school district’s superintendent position.

The semi-finalists are:
• Sarah Klitzke, Interim Director of Teaching and Learning, Waconia Public Schools,
Waconia, MN
• Stephanie Kuehn, Principal, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Public Schools, Howard
Lake, MN
• Kristopher Lynk, Principal Leadership Support, Southwest Prairie Regional Center of
Excellence at Southwest West Central Service Cooperative, Marshall, MN
• Kent Mutchler, Superintendent, Geneva Community School District, Geneva, IL
• Nate Walbruch, Principal, Rochester Public Schools, Rochester, MN

The semi-finalists were selected from a pool of applicants based on criteria established by the
school board.

The school board has scheduled interviews for the semi-finalists beginning at 5 p.m. May
22, and 5 p.m. May 24..

All interviews will take place in the Media Center at HLWW High School and are open to the
public.
