Fire departments respond to Millerbernd Mfg.

millerWINSTED, MN – Firefighters from Winsted and Lester Prairie responded to a report of a fire at Millerbernd Manufacturing in downtown Winsted on Main Avenue West May 17 at about 9:37 p.m., according to the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office.

An electrical box in the break area was found to have overheated or short-circuited, according to Winsted Fire Chief Chad Engel. Also responding was the sheriff’s office, and the Winsted and Lester Prairie police departments.
