HOWARD LAKE, WAVERLY, WINSTED, MN – Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted School Board Member Charles Bush stirred up a dialogue about postsecondary education, classroom supplies, and cheating at Monday’s work session.
All three topics were based on newspaper articles Bush included in the meeting packet.
For post-high school options, Bush questioned if HLWW is doing enough to expose students to all that’s available.
“Some of the most successful people I know were, at best, ‘C’ students,” he said.
Bush also shared his philosophy on student learning: “Experiment a little bit. Try it all – see what you like.”
