Wright County Sheriff’s Office: Chase Swenson has returned home and is safe

COKATO, MN – The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating Chase Swenson, 30, of Cokato. Swenson last had contact with his family the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 3 in Cokato. He left on foot from the residence and is believed to be carrying two backpacks, a sleeping bag, and a homemade yellow/black plaid quilt with cancer ribbons on it. Swenson has spoken about wanting to go to Colorado for vacation and may be trying to travel there. He has health concerns and, because of the weather, authorities are concerned for his welfare. Swenson is described as 6’01”, 290 pounds, blue eyes, dark blond hair a beard and glasses. He has a one-inch scar on his right forearm. Swenson was last seen wearing brown welding pants, a black welding jacket with orange flames printed on it, winter boots, and glasses.
Anyone who thinks they may have seen Swenson or have information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Wright County Sheriff’s Office at 763-682-7600 or dial 911.

UPDATE: At 1:13 this afternoon,  the Wright County Sheriff’s Office missing person regarding Chase Swenson was cancelled. Swenson returned home and is safe. The sheriff’s office appreciates all who helped look for him.
