WRIGHT COUNTY, MN – The Wright County Parks Department will be hosting a dog sledding program at Collinwood Park, near Cokato. For more information on upcoming programs, contact the Parks Department at (763) 682-7693, Monday-Friday.
The dog sledding program will be Saturday, Jan. 16. Pre-registration deadline is Friday, Jan. 8, and the cost is $20 per person. Two sessions will be offered, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from noon to 2 p.m. Learn about the exciting sport of dog sledding then head to the trails to experience the thrill of being pulled on a sled by a team of Siberian huskies through the woods. End the outing with a cup of hot cocoa or cider. It is very important everyone come dressed for the weather
