HUTCHINSON, MN – The eighth annual “Women in the Outdoors Event,” hosted by the Gopher Campfire Conservation Club, Hutchinson, will take place Saturday, Sept. 27 at Gopher Capmpfire.
Classes that will be offered this year are: outdoor hike with photography (bring camera, film, digital camera and tripod); archery; Dutch oven cooking; outdoor yoga; handgun and rifle; trap shooting; sporting clay targets; and herbopath trail hike.
Those interested should come by 8:30 a.m. to register and be ready for the introduction at 9 a.m. followed by the day’s events and a meal.
Bring comfortable layered clothing as the temperature still changes throughout the day, comfortable shoes, sunglasses, bug spray, and cash, check or credit card for the auction, and raffles. Bring a new friend and win extra tickets for the raffle. The cutoff age is 12 years and up, due to the day being a “womens” day.
