What did you think of movie night?

According to the numbers, the Cokato Chamber of Commerce first ever movie night turned out to be quite the hit with approximately 450 to 500 people gathered in Peterson Park to watch the movie “Cars” last Saturday (Aug. 23). The idea was brought to the chamber this past spring by Wayne Murphy and Steve Dietman. Vendors including Dan Lemke’s Sunny Road ice cream and K and K Fun Time and Party Time tent rental had a large bouncer on hand for the kids to have fun in before the movie began. Also prior to the movie Ben Brandt along with his band played for the audience. There are talks of another movie night next summer, maybe even three – one each month of summer, according to Dietman. For those who attended, what are your thoughts and recommendations?
