A new annex was recently added to the Dassel Museum, complete with a Community Room that can accommodate up to 240 people. The room features a projector as well as a kitchen area (the latter available for caterers; not food preparation). The annex is expected to open later this month. Check out this “early peek” virtual tour (60 slides) of both the old and new sections of the museum, otherwise known as the Ergot Building. The virtual tour shows the new portion yet under construction.

The mayor is talking with the DCBA about netting that will protect the windows, but I’m not sure if anything formal has been done yet.
