The deadline is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9 for filing when it comes to open seats for mayor, council or school board. Candidates have until 5 p.m. Tuesday, which is a different deadline than previously printed in the paper. To see the most recent filings, click here. Candidates who file will be given a brief questionnaire for our award-winning Voters Guide, which will be online on a scheduled basis before the election, depending on the seat.
