COKATO, DASSEL, MN – Trees, like this one in a yard on the corner of Broadway Avenue and 6th Street in Cokato, were down all over the area yesterday with the strong winds. The power was out in the town of Cokato for about five minutes around 6 p.m., due to a fallen tree, and many residents lost their cable television service for a few hours. Trees fell all over Meeker County across roads and streets, some causing power outages, according to the Meeker County Sheriff’s report.
