Army National Guard soldier Nic Raduenz of Litchfield recently sent in a picture from his second tour of duty, which he is currently serving.
He refers to it as a great place to spend on a vacation and reports the weather being warm.
“I think you should travel to Iraq. I’ve been there twice now and its lovely this time of year. The temp is in the mid 70s most days and the locals are very friendly. If you’re looking for inexpensive and fun this is the place to be. Economy is a little slow so prices are right. If your looking for a trip you’ll remember forever in a relaxed atmosphere come check out Baghdad. if leisurely days spent chatting and drinking chai with friends sounds like a good time just wait till you see the night life. you could take a stroll under the starry desert sky, or head into town for a night filled with excitement and mystery.”
