Snowing, blowing advisory tonight

The National Weather Service has issued an advisory for snowing and blowing that will impact travellers in Meeker and McLeod counties.  Two to four inches is expected, with winds predicted to gust up to 25 mph tonight.  The following is a detail of the actual weather advisory:

Douglas-Stevens-Pope-Lac Qui Parle-Swift-Chippewa-Kandiyohi- Meeker-Yellow Medicine-Renville-Mcleod-Redwood- Including The Cities Of, Alexandria, Morris, Glenwood, Madison, Benson, Montevideo, Willmar, Litchfield, Granite Falls, Olivia, Hutchinson, Redwood Falls

The Winter Weather Advisory Is Now In Effect Until 9 PM CST This Evening.

Snow Was Moving Across West Central Minnesota This Afternoon, And Will Gradually Taper Off This Evening. Accumulations Of 2 To 4 Inches Are Likely By 9 PM.

North Winds Will Increase As The Low Pressure Passes Into Iowa This Evening, Causing Some Blowing And Drifting Snow, . Especially In Open Areas. Wind Speeds Of 20 To 25 Mph Will Be Common With A Few Higher Gusts.

A Winter Weather Advisory For Snow And Blowing Snow Means That Visibilities Will Be Limited Due To A Combination Of Falling And Blowing Snow. Use Caution When Traveling, Especially In Open Areas
