Steady snow will continue to follow overnight, according to WCCO. A winter storm has already dumped more than 7 inches of snow over parts of west-central Minnesota and more between 3 and 5 inches of snow in the Twin Cities area.
WCCO Meteorologist Chris Shaffer said the Twin Cities should continue to receive snow until about noon Tuesday. By then, the Metro could be underneath between 5 and 9 inches of snow. Western, southwestern and south-central Minnesota will get the most, possibly reaching 8 to 11 inches. Western Wisconsin gets off easy with 2 to 3.
