WRIGHT COUNTY, MN — The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch Thursday afternoon, which resulted in severe weather moving through the Stearns County area, clipping the edge of northwestern Wright County that evening.
Meeker County was also included in the severe weather, reaching as far south as Kimball; however the wall cloud quickly moved out and to the east.

The NWS Storm Prediction Center Has Issued A Tornado Watch For Portions Of Parts Of Southern And Central Minnesota, Effective This Thursday Afternoon And Evening From 310 PM Until 1100 PM CDT.
Tornadoes, Hail To 3 Inches In Diameter, Thunderstorm Wind Gusts To 80 Mph, And Dangerous Lightning Are Possible In These Areas.
