Santa is scheduled to arrive soon in DC

Santa will be at the Dassel-Cokato Early Childhood Center, Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to noon to visit children, birth through elementary age.
Country Gallery will be there to capture the children’s visit with Santa. Local storyteller, Bob Gasch, will share tales of Christmas and the North Pole.
Holiday activities and gift making stations will be available for children to make a few gifts. The event is free and sponsored by the Cokato Chamber of Commerce and DC Early Childhood program.

Later in the month, Santa will return with his wife, Mrs. Claus, to visit the Dassel Fire Hall from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20. The visit with the Clauses is sponsored by the Dassel Fire Department, its auxiliary, and the Dassel Area Chamber of Commerce.

Where is the early childhood center located?

It’s located at the high school just west of Cokato (you’ll see big, blue pillars on the west side of the complex). It is usually referred to as the Community Education part of the DC High School complex.
