WILLMAR, MN – Congressman Collin Peterson will host two public roundtable discussions on how to control health care spending while improving access to quality care. Peterson represents McLeod and Meeker counties (if you live in Wright County, your congressperson is Michele Bachmann.) Note: These officials do not accept comments from those living outside their districts.
Peterson’s events will begin with a panel of local stakeholders and experts who will make brief statements that will be followed by a moderated panel discussion, with questions from the audience to begin at that point.The public is invited to attend and participate.
Willmar meeting: set for 2 p.m., Friday, August 14, at the Health and Human Services Multipurpose Room, 2200 23rd Street in Willmar.
Bemidji meeting: set for 1 p.m., Monday, August 17 at the County Administration Board Room, 701 Minnesota Avenue NW, Bemidji.
